The upgraded version of the Kia EV6 receives many significant changes both in the exterior and interior, and is equipped with a new battery pack developed by Hyundai Group.

Kia EV6 2025 has just had its official image announced in Korea, the car has a much more attractive appearance than its predecessor.

On the outside, the front of the new EV6 receives the most improvements.

Kia’s design team also refreshed the rest of the fascia, including the front bumper and lower grille area.

Most of the EV6’s exterior remains the same, except for the new two-tone black and silver wheels, sized 19 inches and 20 inches.

The interior of the 2025 EV6 has had many significant changes, most notably the appearance of a new panoramic curved screen, integrating both a digital clock cluster and infotainment screen.

Kia has also redesigned the two-spoke steering wheel and added a fingerprint reader, allowing registered drivers to start the car without a key.

The new EV6 still supports over-the-air updates, but it’s not just limited to navigation map updates like before, it now also supports updates to the main electronic control systems.

The car is also equipped with a digital rearview mirror and HUD screen.

Hyundai Group’s new battery pack with a capacity of 84 kWh is equipped under the hood of the Kia EV6 2025, replacing the 77.4 kWh battery pack of the old version.

Kia said that the rear-wheel drive version with 19-inch wheels can achieve a range of 494 km in Korea, a significant increase compared to 475 km of the old EV6 model.

Detailed information about operating range in other markets has not yet been announced.

The standard rear-wheel drive version has 225 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, while the two-motor versions have up to 320 horsepower and 605 Nm of torque.

Kia has also improved the EV6’s frequency-selective damping system to enhance ride comfort, reduce engine noise and enhance body rigidity for improved safety.

The 2025 EV6 will be launched in Korea next month.
