Shenxing Plus has an operating range of more than 1,000 km, about 300 km longer than Shenxing.
“The operating range of more than 1,000 km is possible thanks to continuous technological advances,” said Gao Huan, CATL’s chief technology officer in China.
According to CATL, the growing market for electric vehicles and new energy vehicles has highlighted the diverse needs in the market.
Shenxing Plus is one of six battery types currently offered by CATL.
